Global Ring AI began with a conviction: the most valuable applications of artificial intelligence don’t replace human judgment — they amplify it. That conviction, born from building Sentinels, our global event intelligence platform, has grown into an investment thesis and an operating philosophy.
What We Do
We identify, invest in, and operate businesses where AI augmentation creates a structural advantage. Our portfolio spans nine companies across intelligence, social media, sports analytics, quantitative finance, consumer finance, enterprise data, e-commerce, industrial manufacturing, and gaming.
Every company in the portfolio shares two things: AI that makes humans better at what they do, and engineering teams that are themselves AI-augmented.
Why Now
The current moment in AI is defined by a tension between two narratives. One says AI will replace human workers. The other says AI is a tool that makes human work more effective. We invest exclusively in the second narrative — not because it’s more comfortable, but because it’s more durable.
The companies that build for augmentation create stronger products, retain better talent, and compound their advantages faster than those racing toward full automation. We’ve seen it in our own portfolio, and we believe it will define the next decade of enterprise and consumer technology.
What’s Next
Over the coming months, we’ll use this journal to share updates on our portfolio companies, publish our thinking on AI augmentation, and document the lessons we learn as operators and investors. We believe in building in public, and this is where we’ll do it.
